General
- The Method Statement describes the sequence of events from the receipt of the order through to the completion of work.
- All works will be carried out in accordance with our Quality Plan.
- All procedures and processes will be in accordance with Hill Mark Infra Quality Management System
- The work will be fabricated and installed as per the contract document, approved design, fabrication and installation drawings
Organization
- An Experienced Project Engineer and Site Supervisor will be appointed to manage the contract and control the production design, manufacturing and installation drawing and all other technical and site matters.
- A team of experienced Technical and Administration Staff will assist the Project Engineer.
- The Project Engineer and Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day project activities and all other component of the project team.
Sequence of Works
The sequence of activities will be the following
- Finalize all relevant documents like Technical and Financial information specification.
- Design, drawing, submittal and approval of samples.
- Design development and approval.
- Construction and fabrication of drawings.
- Procurement.
- Site survey measure area where our works is to be installed.
- Fabrication.
- Transportation to site.
- Installation.
- Inspection and final handing over.
Documentation
To undertake the initial design we will require the following information
- Plans, elevation and sectional drawing
- Definitive specification
- All other information that is relevant to the general design
Design Resources
- Design method statement
- To achieve the best possible result in terms of cost, time and quality, the design phase will be carefully coordinated in order to define all the details and conditions required by the consultant for approval of workshop drawings. This phase is essential for procurement of the long lead-in time products
- Design development
- Design development drawings will be produced based on tender specification and requirements after the preliminary discussion to define the principles of construction.
- The design is executed on CAD to improve the quality control and easy reviewing in short time after remarks for modification.
- The design development will be carried out in close liaison with the client.
- Design drawings will be approved prior to the preparation of construction drawings.
- All final drawing and information will be submitted for approval.
Construction Drawings
- The construction drawings will be performed in accordance with the approved design drawings.
- Construction drawings indicating all components will be prepared, submitted and approved prior to commencement of manufacturing.
Workshop Drawings
- Work shop drawings are produced for internal use in accordance with the requirement of design, the construction drawings and the contract program.
- The workshop drawings will indicate the requirement for material, working details, finishes, assembly of components, fabrication of elements and detail for procurement of materials.The workshop drawings will indicate the requirement for material, working details, finishes, assembly of components, fabrication of elements and detail for procurement of materials.
Procurement
- Procurement of material is undertaken based on the requisition by the design department and under the supervision of Operations Manager in compliance with the contract specification and program.
- Suppliers are selected on the basis of approved vendors list of the company.
- Goods obtained are checked by quality department before passing on to the production department.
Manufacturing
- Manufacturing will take place at the company’s premises.
- Receipt of material and check for quality and compliance with the specification.
- Complete fabrication is carried out in strict accordance with the shop drawings and specification
- All in house manufacturing is controlled as per the procedures defined in the company’s quality plan.
Transportation
- All materials will be packed in an appropriate way suitable for loading and transportation. The flow of manufacturing will be monitored to follow the contract program and/or to be adjusted as determined by changes in site program.
- All deliveries are monitored and booked to site in advance as agreed with Site Supervisor.
Protection
- During installation work at site, protection will be provided during assembly and installation up to the time when our work is completed. After completion the protection will be removed from our work and thoroughly cleaned off.
Practical Completion of the Work
- Upon completion of the works, Hill Mark Infra will provide the summary of all materials, manufacturer’s technical details and recommendation for maintenance
- Snagging of our work will be done on stage basis whilst installation is in progress according to our company quality management plan. Upon completion of the project, final snag list is attended satisfactorily before final handing over.
